ATI Radeon Control Panel Download Windows 7: Everything You Need to Know About AMD Graphics Products

After downloading the latest windows 7 and HP updates catalyst control center no longer works. When starting the program the cursor goes to the busy circle for a little while, but the program does not launch. Uninstalling and reinstalling the application has no effect. Please is there a fix for this since without this program the advanced graphics features can't be accessed. I am using a newly purchased HP Pavilion g6-1103sa laptop with windows7 64bit home edition. Catalyst control center which comes pre-installed seems to have this recurrent problem but having looked online there does not seem to be a proper fix for the problem.Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, however the solution did not work. I uninstalled the original version of catalyst control center and then restarted the laptop. I downloaded and installed the version of ccc as shown above, restarted the laptop and gave it time to boot up fully. after 5 mins I ran the CCC application and the same thing happened as before. Busy cursor for a while then no control center interface.

And windows/hp updates can cause it stop working as well it would appear. I've already done a factory reset once to correct the problem, but as soon as the windows/hp updates download after a few days then CCC stops working again. Any more suggestions...no help on ATI site.

Ok I have finally found out what is causing this problem. It seems that catalyst control center does not like the Microsoft .NET framework 4. I uninstalled the net framework 4, rebooted and catalyst control center started working fine. However I do not know the specific problem with net framework 4. Does the problem lie with catalyst control center or the net framework. I hope this issue is fixed soon because the net framework seems to be an important part of windows. I think net framework 3.5 should be ok but for now I will not be using net framework 4. Any comments or resolutions would be welcome.

Well I thought I had fixed this catalyst control center problem by removing the .net framework 4. But hey what a suprise it stopped working again after a few more so called essential windows updates. I have scoured the net for solutions including setting the windows "users" folder to hidden and then unhidden using the attributes. I have uninstalled the whole of ccc and then used driver sweeper in safe mode, rebooted and then installed the ccc program again.

So right click the background so the menu with CCC at the top pops up. Click on CCC. The mouse pointer goes to the busy circle. Now whilst it is busy keep right clicking the background and clicking on CCC. The menu doesn't pop up at first but keep trying. You may have to attempt to launch it 4 or 5 times maybe. However the CCC control panel on my machine did launch after a few attempts. Don't worry about all those multiple instances of CCC running, they close themselves down after a short while and only 1 version of CCC.exe and MOM.exe is left running in the processes list.

Its all very strange..my catalyst control centre has now started working correctly. It started working again after I downloaded the latest windows updates including some for the microsoft net framework 4.0. You might try downloading the latest windows updates especially the net framework 4.0 ones. Hopefully this will fix the problem. I can only assume the problem relates to compatibilty issues between net framework 4.0 and catalyst control centre. Hope this helps.

  • Custom Resolution Utility is a small freeware utility which can tweak your NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards to create higher resolutions. As a portable application, CRU does not require installation and can be run without installation. The layout of the program provides a list of currently supported resolutions for your monitor with the option to add new ones. The application isn't perfect, but if your monitor can support higher and/or different resolutions from what's displayed in your graphics control panel, Custom Resolution Utility will create EDID values in the registry so that you may select the resolutions in your graphics settings.Currently supported GPUs are limited to some AMD/ATI and NVIDIA cards, as Intel GPUs are not supported. It's worth pointing out that you should have an idea of what your monitor and GPU are capable of. If anything goes wrong, the download comes with an app called "reset-all.exe" which can be run to revert any changes you have made with Custom Resolution Utility.Features of Custom Resolution UtilityAMD/ATI's driver also listens to the TMDS clock limit in the HDMI support data block.

  • Detailed resolutions are the preferred way to add custom resolutions.

  • HDMI is treated as single-link DVI unless an HDMI support data block is defined in the first extension block.

  • HDMI limits depend on the graphics card.

  • Passive DisplayPort to HDMI adapters are limited to 165 MHz unless the driver is patched.

  • The first detailed resolution is considered the preferred or native resolution.

Compatibility and LicenseCustom Resolution Utility is provided under a freeware license on Windows from video tweaks with no restrictions on usage. Download and installation of this PC software is free and 1.5.2 is the latest version last time we checked.

Apart from addictively stealing your time observing Stellarium's sky rendition, Stellarium is not dangerous and should not harm anything or anybody (but please read the GPL disclaimer about no guarantee or non-fitness for particular purpose etc.). The browser or install warning panel should offer some way to accept this warning and continue the download or installation if you are comfortable.

However, make sure to download Stellarium from stellarium.org, github.com, launchpad.net or sourceforge.net, and not some repackaged installation from freeware sites which may pack extra software or adware into their own installers or wrap our ready-made package into "safe downloader apps" (which usually add adware) or may change browser settings (change default browser, modify default search engine, ...) or other things you don't want and we cannot control.

Earlier this year I exclusively reported on the "Radeon Settings" GUI control panel may be open-sourced for AMD Linux users but since then I hadn't heard anything publicly or privately about getting this graphics driver control panel on Linux for AMDGPU-PRO and the fully-open AMDGPU stack. But it looks like that it's still being worked on internally at AMD.

Dear members,I am trying to buy a new PC (price doesn't matter much but no more then 2,500). I won't be doing nothing like video/picture editing, burning CD or DVD or anything that require a lot of processing power. Please also let me know any other feature I should also look for. thank you very much!

Also, to let you know i will only be using credit card not store credit card (bestbuy, circuit city) so they won't take my credit card if i buy in store (maybe online and if i buy online how long does it take to arrive?)I also won't be saving videos on internal hd but an external seagate hds (5 year warranty) thats because i don't want to have my internal hd give up on me very quick because by downloading videos on it some of the time.I also won't be buying a MAC because it doesn't have enough features like windows, don't play many PC games and a lot expensive. From your comments, Is this the right hardwares for me (i am not purchasing the exact product but similar to it if it meets my requirements):Motherboard[AMD] Asus M2NPV-VM _info.php?part=3875CPUAMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ AM2 DUAL CORE _info.php?part=3805RamKingston Value 1GB DDR2-667 (2x512MB) _info.php?part=4371Video CardGigaByte GeForce 7300GS 128MB (256MB shared) QUIET PCI-E _info.php?part=3783Sound CardCreative X-Fi Xtreme Audio _info.php?part=4487CD / DVD Rom _info.php?part=4479AccessoriesATI TV Wonder 650 PCI TV Tuner _info.php?part=4609Operating SystemWindows Vista Home Premium (it has windows media center)MonitorUndecided (i won't be watching videos from laptop from faraway but by connecting it to tv) should i get a widescreen or normal?should i get a tower pc or something like this: _info.php?part=3889KeyboardMicrosoft Multimedia Optical Combo (black) _info.php?part=1440MouseMicrosoft Optical Tilt Wheel _info.php?part=1654System Price: $1,406.06 (with a monitor)What must also be included in:Dial-up modem (if possible build-in not usb connected)Build-in Fax and Scan without using a fax machine (windowx vista business has it but it doesn't have windows media center so i don't want that) At least 6 Month warrantyCan play HD dvd download videosCan you also tell me if I also buy a Remote Control for Windows Media Center will it work only with windows media player or others like zoom player? Thats all i want to know so please help me out! :)

puget systems builds top notch computers. pretty sure they'll set you back more than the big name companies though. I know several people that work in the tech field that swear by them for their personal at home work. They have some sexy boxes too. widescreen monitors are nice, but not necessary. seems everyone is going that way though. would strongly suggest the 2gb ram with windows vista. I've been using vista for about 4 months now with no problems on 2gb ram and dual core AMD chip. No crash or freeze up yet, but I haven't worked it too hard (it's a home computer). Not sure about the remote control...never used mine yet. That ATI card will tune in digital hdtv for sure...video card should be able to play hd then. 2ff7e9595c
